Can I Start Primolut Nor For Delayed Menses?

I missed my period. It last period was on 27/10/2011. I had negative hpt and blood test. I went for sonography yesterday. She said nothing found in the womb. She gave me primolut nor 10 mg. to use for 5 days. She advised me to take hpt once again. But i did not take. Is it safe to start primolut nor from today..? Or should i wait for some days..?
