Can I Take Asraufin While Gradually Reducing Allopathic BP Medications?

May I take asraufin 2 tab per day alongwith alopath and slowly reduce alopath .Asraufin is Unani medicine.carvadil 3.125 mg,twice.losar 50 mg twice,clinidip 10 mg I am taking than my BP is 140/80.some time BP in hospital is 160/90.
BP treatment on should consult physician or cardiologist. My age 65 years male.

Hi,

I think, as you are already on 3 drugs for control of your BP. These drugs might have been prescribed to you by your doctor, taking your clinical condition into consideration. As all the 3 drugs, besides lowering the blood pressure has different types of effects on heart, as their mode of action is entirely different. In such cases any change in the drug or dosage should be gradual and strictly under guidance of your physician or cardiologist.
