Can I Take Melatonin While On Ciprofloxacin?

I have taken two ciprofloxicin 5 hrs ago. Now I want to take something mild to help me sleep such as 3 mg melatonin. Is that o.k. For this one time? I will not take anymore ciprfloxicin, asking my dentist for regular amoxicillin and will start that tomorrow. It looks like almost everything interacts with Cipro. I have no tylonal.

Hi,

There should be no reason for you not to take a Melatonin while on Ciprofloxacin. There is no known interactions between the two of them. Go ahead.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
