Can I Take Olmesartan-HCTZ In Place Of Valsartan 320 HCTZ?
I was currently on valsartan 320 HCTZ for a least 3 years until I visited the pharmacist recently and was told it was recalled. I was given Olmesartan-HCTZ 40-25 as a replacement and am wondering if I should have blood work and a consult with my cardiologist before taking this medicine?

Without consulting your cardiologist, I should not switch the drug to Olmesartan -HCTZ. You need to change the drug to previous molecule until your next visit to cardiologist.
