Can I Take Regestrone 5mg To Postpone Period While Breastfeeding?

i am 28 yr old now...i was advised to take regesterone 5mg twice daily 7 days from my expected date to postpone my periods as i have to atend a function...i am breast feeding my child i want to know is there any problem for child ...also i want to know can i have sex with my husband while taking this tablet and if so whiile having sex my periods will come earlier...please help me

hi. You can take regesterone while breast feeding as it contains only progesterone and will not harm the baby.Regarding sex, it will be better if you take some precautions during sex like condoms.
