Can I Take Repace 25 Instead Of Cardace?
hi,I am A k Bhan. recently I suffered a heart attack and was subjected to Angioplasty at Apollo Hospital New Delhi. My Stress TMT was perfect in September 2013 about seven months ago. I had history of high triglycerides for decades n BP for last few years. I used to take Telma 40 regularly but was irregular in taking Fibetor 20. Now fr last two weeks I was taking Cardace but I developed dry cough n doctor has replaced it with Repace 25. Is it ok to take Repace 25 ? apart from this I am taking Plavix, Seloken XL 50 and Rosulip 40. Pl advise

Angiotensin receptor or angiotensin converting enzyme are a class of drugs belonging to anti hypertensives.
Which are known to cause severe dry cough as a result of bradykinin stimulation.
So your both replace and cardace belongs to above mentioned group.
So both are not recommended if u have cough as side effect.
Plavix, rosulip, fibetor can continue.
Seloken xl 50 if ur using only in the morning can use 25mg of it in the night also.
Add amlodipine 5mg in the morning
