Can I Take Trika When Suffering From Hypertension?

sir whenever i drink wine at night and when i wake in the morning i dont feel comfortable and i take 0.25 trika dose some times .5 then after 30 minutes i feel comfortabe because i am suffering from hypertension since 1992 eveready i take concor 5 prescribed by doctor. is it harmfull or ok to take trika in these conditions

Anti-anxiety tablets such as Alprazolam (Trika) are helpful only if the main cause of hypertension is stress. In most cases treatment lies in anti-hyertensive medicines. Anti-anxiety drugs are known to cause addiction. Therefore they are recommended for very short durations. The adverse effects of trika include loss of sexual drive, memory loss, ataxia (imbalance while walking), arthralgia, tremors and withdrawal symptoms.
It is not advisable to take the medicine for longer durations.
