hi my 2 year old (was born at 34th week)she is suffering from brochitis problem four months back she had pnemonia andrecently she had severe cold and little cough after a week she had wheezing i gave her salbutomol ventolin inhailer for three days and for now almost for 75 days i am giving her lmntus kids tablet. is it ok to give her ambroxol hcl mucosolovan? what is an appropriate treatment? andhow long shall i give her l montus kid?

Asthma needs long acting inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS). Ventorlin is having levosalbutamol. It is short acting beta 2 agonist. It's action lasts for only 2 hours. So frequent dosing is required. So better to give long acting inhaled bronchodilators like formoterol and ICS like budesonide. Their action lasts for 12 hours. So long term control can be achieved. And oral combination of antihistamine and anti allergic drugs (montus kid) is also indicated. She will need these drugs for long duration like 1-2 years.
