Can I Take Wellbutrin Xl 150 Mg For Depression?
IWAS DEPRESSED MY OB DR.PUT ME ON WELLBUTRIN XL 150MGJAN.24.SAID I COULD TAKE PAROXETINE 20 MG. AT BEDTIME.I AM SO NERVOUS I CAN NOT BE STILL. WHAT SHOULD I DO?SHOULD I GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM OR WAIT IT OUT UNTIL I CAN GET ANOTHER APPOINTMENT.I FEEL HELPLESS.

I understand that you are distressed about your problem of nervousnessness and restlessness. You have mentioned that your doctor had advised you to take two medication - Wellbutrin and Paroxetine. Now, both of them are antidepressant medication and I'm not sure why you were asked to take both simultaneously. Also, antidepressants can have a side effect of causing a temporary worsening of anxiety during the first 2 or 3 weeks. Since you are on two antidepressants, there is a possibility that the worsening of anxiety is a side effect of the medication.
The other possibility is that your underlying anxiety has not been controlled by the medication and you are probably having an exacerbation of your previous problems. To determine what the exact cause is, you need to have a detailed evaluation by a psychiatrist.
However, since you have mentioned that your nervousness and restlessness is severe, it would be advisable to go to the emergency department to have yourself checked and get treatment to calm you down and manage till your next appointment.
