Hi There. My name is GAURAV PARIHAR age 24 male.i m suffering from facial acnes 10-15 in number. They leave dark spots behing while new ones appear. I m using ultrsome HT to lighten them.. but they are getting red.Should i use isobest 20 and fusidic acid cream.Or prescribe any apt. Treatment . Thank u
Thanks for contacting Health care magic. As per your history you are suffering from acne vulgaris. It is characterized by multiple reddish raised or flat lesion. few lesions may be nodular and can discharge pus.
As per your history you are using ultrasome ht cream which contains hydroquinone, tretion and mometasone. mometasone is a steroid and causes increase in the lesion of acne.
Thus the first step in your treatment is to stop Ultrasome Ht cream.
After that the treatment should include antibiotic like Cap. Doxycycline and topical medication containing Clindamycin and Tretinoin which is to be applied only at night time. A face wash containing Salicylic Acid 2% at night will help.
Isotretinoin as you mentioned is reserved only for recalcitrant acne lesions. so don't be in a hurry. Acne lesion take time in Healing. The Tretinoin in the topical preparation will also help to reduce the pigmentation.
