Can I Use Azithral For Severe Dry Cough? Used The Same For Throat Pain

Hi, I am having severe dry cough. Earlier I have taken 3 Azithral 500 due to pain in throat & got cured but suddenly after 1 week I am suffering from severe dry cough. I am having Ascoril D too.. but it is not making any noticeable change to my cough. Shall I take Azithral again.. kindly suggest.

Hello

I dont think you have to take the antibiotic again!
Dry cough indicates irritation of your airway and an antibiotic will not be useful for it, since it is not due to an infection!
If you develop fever or yellow sputum, you can start the antibiotic!
For the time being you can continue the ascoril and start steam inhalation 3-4 times a day.
Thanks
