Can I Use Over The Counter Medication For Skin Tag Removal?

I have a skin tag on my inner upper left thigh and was wondering if I could use an over the counter skin tag remover on it. I also have a couple by my armpits and one on my neck. Will the over the counter removers work well for those as well. Thank you.

Hi,

Skin tags are the extra growth of the skin. Electrocauterisation is the best method to remove them. It is very simple minor surgery done in OPD under local anaesthesia, takes few minutes. Chemical cautery is not effective method for skin tags as in verruca. Cryotherapy is other alternate method. There is no oral medicine for skin tags. I recommend electro cautery to cure skin tags. You consult dermatologist and have perfect treatment. I hope you got my answer.
