Can IBS Worsen Over Time, Or Could My Symptoms Be Acid Reflux Or Another Condition?

Hi I’ve been suffering since august with stumic gurgling and diagrams and some days constipation now poo is yellow and I have burning and funny taste in mouth two symptoms that are new the doctors say I have ibs but why am I getting more symptoms now I’m miserable and scared I don’t know what to do can ibs get worst or is it really something else don’t like acid reflex and yellow stool
