Can Kaptin Suspension Be Given For Diarrhea?

Hello Doctor, My son is 2.5 years old. He is having watery stools since last 2 days.. but not constantly.. day before yesterday evening 2 times & then yesterday evening 3 times..one of my friends suggested to give him Kaptin syrup.. can I use it? I’m currently living in Saudi Arabia
