I haven t taken my Lexapro for awhile but feel I need to now. This time of year (February) and the fact that I have had several deaths in my immediate family in the past year have made me feel somewhat depressed and overwhelmed. I don t like taking medication unless it is necessary but I feel I am at a point where the Lexapro can help me. The dosage I take (when I do take it) is 10mg. My question has to do with other medications I take and concern about any possible interaction with the Lexapro if I start taking it. I take nature thyroid 1.5gr (1 tablet per day) 30 min before breakfast for thyroid problem ( have been doing so for years.) also, for rheumatoid arthritis pain, I take hydroxychloroquine Sul Tab 200mg (1 tablet once a day with food...after dinner). Lastly, I also take medrol( methylprednisolone) 4mg tablet once a day after dinner. Will the Lexapro that I want to start taking for the next couple of months interact in a bad way with the medications I am currently taking as described above? I only intend on taking the Lexapro for a short time as I believe my spirits will lift after the depressing winter changes to soaring and I adjust to the recent loss of my loved ones.
