Can Lexopeg Be Continued For The Hard Stools In A 2.7 Years Old?

my 2.7yrs baby hve a problem of hard stool,after showing to child specialist doc,he told me to giv baby lexopeg 3 tpon after dinner,but baby didn't drink milkwen i put 3 tsp.i started to giv him morn 1tsp noon 1tsp dinner 1tsp.wen i giv like dis stool will be much more better den before,stool comes normal n moisture,shall i giv continued or is der any changes for dose.

Hi..laxopeg can be given at this age. For constipation rather than giving medicine I.would suggest dietary modification with inclusion of high fibres. Also encourage fluid intake.if this solves the problem you will not need laxopeg
