I will like to know if you have had any weight loss or signs of mineral or vitamin deficiency. Matifen is not known to cause loss of appetite to this extreme. I think your eating habit may be responsible for this because I find it difficult to believe you have not eaten in a week. Maybe you have to write short notes of everything that enters your mouth. I will suggest you stop all snacks and only get well plan and structured favorite meals. Try to eat what you really love and have not eaten in ages.
