Can Meftal Spas Be Taken For Painful Menstrual Periods?
Hello doctor, I am 22 yrs old.I have pain in my lower back during periods.I also suffer from acidity which increases the pain n sometimes it causes a lot of fatigue..I had been taking ibuprofen since i started having periods to reduce pain but since past few months duration of my periods have decreased to 2 3 days and bleeding has also decreased considerably.Is it normal or some side effect? Kindly suggest. Also, i have switched to meftal spas. Is it safe to take 2 tablets a day during periods?

Meftal spas is a better choice compared to ibuprofen and it has got lesser side effects. You can take two tablets per day and try to take it after food to avoid gastritis related side effects.
