Can Meftal Help Alleviate Pain During Menstruation?

Can meftal be taken to cure severe menstrual cramps/pain. Is it okay to pop 2 tablets at once? What s the risk associated to it? Will the duration if my period shorten or will my period become lighter if I take painkillers to reduce menstrual pain. I simply cannot tolerate it, it s severe period pain that lasts 3 days at least if painkillers are not taken.

For more efficacy, the medication should be taken just before an impending period. 2.It should be taken after food, to avoid gastritis, one tablet at a time up to 8th hourly doses. 3.The anti-prostaglandin effect can help to reduce the pain as well as the menstrual flow.
