Can Metoprolol Be Taken For Palpitations And Irregular Heart Beats?
I have what feels like adrenaline spikes that cause pvc and other types of palptations. My bp is always low so I m not put on metopol type drugs. Would metopolo help when for no reason I have this anxiety followed by long periods of irregular heartbeats. Pulse feels strong as in harder beats. Thanks

Metaprolol reduces heart rate and drops then blood pressure. if you have low blood pressure or low heart rate, Metaprolol is contraindicated! do an ECG and other drugs can be started after diagnosis is made.
