Can Metronizazole Prescribed For C Difficile Be Taken Safely With Synthroid?
Hi,
My Dr thinks i have C Difficile from antibiotic use, and possibly a parasite from a trip to Africa. He prescibed 500mg TID of metronizazole. I am severely hypothyroid (Hashimoto's) and take .125mg synthroid daily. I feel terrible on the metro, started on Wednesday. Is it ok to take the metro with a treated hypothyroidism?

side effects of metronidazole causes alteration in taste , it can produce disulfaram like reaction like flushing pain abdomen if take alcohol while on trating with metronidazole
