Can Mirilax Be Taken For Pressure Under Rib Cage?

I ve had stomache issues for about 3 years. The most concerning is pressure that is under my lowest rib cage. I also feel and hear a lot of girgling noises. I drink beer, smoke weed, eat decent foods in large amounts, and i am able to run a couple miles in under 20 minutes without any difficulty. I had blood work done and was looked at by a few doctors about a year ago and was told to take Mirilax . I did for 3 months but stopped because I don t think that s going to fix anything. My questions are: Should I take Mirilax daily? Should I go back to the doctor and ask for anything specific? What should I do? I m afraid they will just look at me and run no actual tests and send me away to take mirilax again.

I would suggest not to take any laxative regularly. They have side effects. They can cause anal canal narrowing and irritation. You seem to be suffering from colitis or IBS. It is better to have fibres, isapghula supplements to tackle the condition.
