Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
The PA just prescribed mobic for swelling, numbness, and pain in left foot. Heart/circulation problems eliminated by ultrasound. I take lasortan so I’m concerned about drug interaction. I also experienced guillian barre syndrome in 2001. I am 72 years of age.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
There might be drug interactions between Mobic (meloxicam). Hence you can opt for milder non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs like Acetaminophen twice a day.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Riyanka Chail
