Can Neomycin And Dexamethasone Be Used For Eye-lids After Discontinuation?
I was prescribed neomycin and polymyxin B sulfates and dexamethasone ointment for week 1 of my post eyelid corrective surgery due to graves disease. For post-op weeks 2 and 3 I have tobramycin-dexamethasone drops and I have all the side effects and need to discontinue. Can I go back to the ointment until I can check with the doctor on Monday?
can beused but dexamethasone is notpropercombination it can have side effect and cause mucking of symptoms. tapering is requeired other wise it will lead to complication. if complication are more then it can be discontinued with consultation of treating doctor.it is all the same dexamethasone is preferred then predispositions such youcan get checked on Monday and take second opinion sudden discontinuation will cause withdrawal symptoms
