Can Noworm Be Given For Lack Of Appetite In The Child?
Hi Doctor, My son is 11 years old. Few months back his pediatrician prescribed noworm suspension though he did not seem to have any symptoms of worms..... Only thing is he looks lean and was falling sick frequently at that time. But now he is OK. But I feel I should give him NOWORM as he is not eating well. Please advise. Can there be any side affects in case I give him this even if he did not have worms.

If deworming medication is given in the past 6 months there is no need to repeat.
If he is not active and repeatedly falling sick with pneumonia or ear infections, with growth faultering child needs blood investigations. If he is active otherwise no need to do anything. Just give him a protein-rich diet.
