Can Pediatric Craniosynostosis Lead To Repeated Concussion Later In Life?

My grandson has had two sports related concussions in the last 3 months. He had surgery for craniosynostosis when he was 3 months old and is 13 now. Could the concussions be related in some way to his craniosynostosis? Could his skull not be as hard because of this condition?

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Craniostenosis correction at 3 months age and concussion related injuries have no relation to each other.
AS for the hardness of skull bones there will not be any difference.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
