Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was just released from the hospital after having a heart attached and stint installed in my LED and I was prescribed Pravastation, but did not make it to the pharmacy before it closed. The hospital help line told me it was OK to waiting until the pharmacy was open in the morning, but my instructions say take a bedtime? Is this OK becuase the nurse that released me said it was important?
You can take it the next day morning it's ok. If not available the next day also you can purchase it from outside. Along with that, you may continue antiplatelet drugs. other medications as prescribed by your Cardiologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
