cAN pREVALITE CAUSE MUSCLE WEAKNESS? i TAKE IT FOR ibs SYMPTOMS AND IT WORKS WELL FOR THAT BUT LATELY i HAVE HAD MUSCLE WEAKNESS AND SHORTNESS OF BREATH. i HAVE GAINED 10 POUNDS IN THE LAST MONTH AND DID NOT KNOW IF THE WEIGHT OR THE pREVALITE WAS CAUSING MY SYMPTOMS YYYY@YYYY
Prevalite is used to lower high levels of cholesterol in the blood, especially low-density Lipoprotein (LDL) or "bad" cholesterol.
Its most common side effects include bloating sensation, diarrhea, steatorrhoea, weight loss, itching or irritation around the anal area. It is unlikely to cause muscle weakness.
Muscle weakness and weight gain could be due some other causes which need to be ruled out after consulting your doctor.
Hope this will help.
