Can Propofol Be Taken When Diagnosed With Tachycardia?
My blood pressure is 99/62 to 107/78. I’m on acebutolol 200 mg 2x a day for tachycardia and an ablation for anvrt. Should I ask for the dr to use something other than propofol for my Colonoscopy? What should I ask them to use? My dad had a reaction to propofol also. I’m nervous.
dear propofol has no effect on the electrophysiological properties of the AV node conduction system. It is thus a suitable anesthetic agent for use in patients undergoing minimal invasive procedures.but in coronary disease patients it may aggravate ischemia.i think I answered to your question if you have more questions feel free to ask.
take care
