Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have taken Registone for 10 days to postpone my periods. After a couple of days after stopping taking registrone, I had my regular periods. Now all of a sudden , my blood presure is high. It is 150 / 100. Is this because of taking Registrone?. All along, my BP was 120/80 .
If your blood pressure is consistently elevated you should also consult your doctor and have your blood pressure checked at the doctor’s office.
Your blood pressure can also be elevated for other reasons. If it is just a side effect of the medication it should improve on its own after you have discontinued the medicine and your cycles have normalized.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Kamila Seilhan
