Can Rozavel Intake Damage The Capillaries And Cause Blood Stains In The Eyes?
Sir, I am 61 years male and am taking Rozavel 5 mg on alternate days (for the last 9 months) as per the advice of my doctor. After taking this medicine, I had blood stain on my left eye twice. At that time I consulted an Ophthalmologist and use the eye drops, as per instruction. Let me know, whether Rozavel can damage the capillaries in the eyes and cause blood stains in eyes?
This drug has significant " anti platelet activation" property, due to which it might be the reason for repeated subconjunctival heamorrhages you are getting in your eye. if you are not lifting heavy weight or straining while defecation or micturition and also if you are not having any bleeding disorder then this drug could be the cause. i would suggest you to inform your physician about it so that drug can be replaced . you can safely use following drugs for sub conjunctival heamorrhage. 1.eye drop lubrex or refresh tears 3 times a day one drop each for 5 days. 2.tablet limcee(vitamin C) 500 mg once a day for 5 days. it will take 5 to 7 days for it to resolve. if it increases or doesnt show improvement at all please visit dr.
