Can STD Be Transmitted Without Penetrative Sex?

i have a question for you last night my friend and I became close to each other she has a history of STD wihc has been dormant for a while. I began to insert my finger to her vagina needles to say i have a small paper cut wound which is not bleeding what are the possibilites of infection should i seek medical help

Thank you for query.Stds like HIV/Hepatitis B can be transmitted if you have cuts/or abrasions in the hand. if it has come in contact with the vagina .If the cut is healed you need not worry.if open and you feel the partner is likely to have HIV then you need to consult doctor immediately for post exposure prophylaxis and testing for HIV. Other stds may not be usually transmitted.
