Can Tamiflu Be Taken While On BP Medications?
I am an 83 year old male with a compromised immune system. I have had the flu and pneumonia several times in my life. I take about 8 prescription medications, including 2 for gastritius. Tamiflu has an adverse interaction with Clopidogrel and probenecid. It does not have an adverse interaction with the commonly used antihypertensives. If you have had exposure to a person with H1N1 infection, it would be prudent to take Tamiflu if you are not on the medicines I have mentioned above.
