Can Taxotere Used In Chemotherapy Cause Feet Skin Peeling?
I have triple negative breast cancer and my second round of chemo is the chemo drug Taxotere which I have every third week. I m unable to locate any information about a side effect of skin peeling on the bottom and sides of my feet. What can you tell me about this reaction?
Hello dear. i have gone through your question. Peeling of the skin is known as hand foot syndrome ant it is associated with many chemo drugs but not with taxotere. You might be getting some more drugs along it. otherwise it may be due to some allergic cause of the skin. You may not worry as it is usually mild and disappears once the chemotherapy is over. You can apply moisturisers cream so that it does not get worsened. Hope that will help you. regards
