Can Thyroxine And Norethisterone Be Taken Together?
I have hyperthyroidism for two years.my free T4 range is normal.TSH level is 6.24. I have irregular menstrual cycle. To make it normal my doctor recommended me to take norethisterone acetate 5mg.So can i take thyroxine and norethisterone torether at the same time?

Available data doesn't suggest existence of ny interaction between thyroxine and norethisterone,however it may influence the test for thyroid functions but these changes are slight and remain within the normal laboratory change.
You have to take thyroxine empty stomach in morning while norethisterone is consumed after meals.
