Can Tizanidine Be Taken For Stiffness And Immobility In The Leg?

Patient has stiffness in one leg muscle below back he is not able to move his leg can tinidazine benefit in this condition or he has Paralysis the patient on previous day received dexamethasone inj,on next day he complained of not moving his leg.the patient was also given prednisolone 5mg

Hello,

Neurological deficit could be the cause, if this is the spinal cord involvement. In this case the lower limb affected, so it must the lesion of dorsal spines.

First of all viral infections needs to be ruled out, steroid is the gold therapy, but it has to be given in time. If this is the bacterial infection, sensitive antibiotic is advisable, such case needs close medical supervision. Intensive care is needed.
