Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
I am sorry for the painful series you are going through. To add more information so you can understand better what's happening to you:
- when there's a wear&tear, and injection is administered, sometimes it happens to have a
throbbing pain following heat sensation from the knee
- that's why we usually recommend our patients to apply ice, immediately after injection and the following day
- limit movement of the knee until betterment.
I think, you have not applied ice, so just wrap your knee with some ice, and of course, can take
Tramadol for the pain. So, you can sleep painless hopefully. If the pain and heating sensation will last, should consult further with your orthopedic specialist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
