Can UTI Affect Man's Sexual Performance?

My 38 year old boyfriend has been having on going UTI's, he has taken different antibiotics but they don't seem to help. We use to have a great sex life but now we don't have sex at all & he says its because of the UTI. Can a UTI affect a man's sexual performance?

yes it can affect. As tract of urine and semen ultimately the same. because of UTI he is feeling pain in lower parts.So not able to enjoy sex as while sex he also feels pain.Some time this UTI can cause infection to prostate and testis. So better to consult surgeon and take treatment. As there is need to find out why this problem is resistant o antibiotics.
