Can Utovlan Be Taken For Delaying Periods While On Cerazette?

Hi! I have recently started taking cerazette and I am nearly at the end of the first packet. I m not sure if I am going to have a period or not. I m off on holiday on Monday and have some utovlan. Shall I take thes to delay my period ? And do I continue to take Cerazette ?

Understand your concern
I advice you to continue the active hormonal tablet of cerazette pill instead of using Ultovlan. As taken of the second type of pill can cause hormonal imbalance and side effects. So better to take the cerazette pill as you already using it.
Stop to take inactive hormone pill that left in the pack and start active hormone pill fro the new pack.You can take it till you do not want the period. Once you stop the pill, your period will be come in next 4-5 days.
In initially starting stage of continuous pills very light breakthrough bleeding/spotting will occur, but do not worry about that. It will decrease by itself with time. Hope this may help you
