Hi,
Venlor 150 mg contains
venlafaxine. Venlor belongs to the group of
antidepressant medications called serotonin
norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRI). It is used to treat anxiety disorder as well as depression. Venlor works by raising the levels of chemical mediators such as serotonin, noradrenaline etc in the brain. By restoring chemical mediators, Venlor maintains mental balance. Side effects of Venlor are dizziness, drowsiness, abnormal sensation of the skin like tingling, pricking, chilling, numbness, burning etc collectively called
paresthesia, easily bruising or bleeding, loss of balance, chills or cold sweats, shaking of the hands or feet, ringing in the ears, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea or
constipation, changes in appetite or body weight, allergic reactions etc. During taking Venlor, avoid alcohol consumption as it can develop excessive sleepiness and drowsiness as well as make damage the liver. If these side effects persist for long or bother you, then you should inform your doctor first for medical attention.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
