Can Victoza Intake Cause Pain Between The Lower Abdomen And Left Breast?

I am 70 as of yesterday. I have a pain in my left side midway between lower abdomen and left breast that spreads to my back in the same area. Pain on a scale of 1-10 is an 8 intermittently and 5 constant. I take Victosa daily and wonder if this could be an inflammation caused by that.

Hi..

Thanks for contacting HCM for health care magic for health query..

You are a senior individual with liraglutide (victoza) and you have pain left side of abdomen.

Victoza can cause loose stools, gastritis flatulence, urinary infection,
muscle cramps etc..

Very rarely it can cause acute necrotising pancreatitis.

But intensity of pain in pacreatitis will be very severe and it will make you double up so possibly it should be because of gastritis or muscle cramp.

You need to meet a physician in person and act according to his or hers advice.

Take care sir.
