Can Zoe Life Be Taken As An Alternative For Vitamin Supplement?

Several years ago, I was having severe bouts of vomiting and many doctors could not figure out why. Finally, I wa referred to a dr. that completed an endoscopy and went far enought with the scope to discover that I had a twist in my duodenum. The twist would not allow my food to pass through, so I vomited continously. I had surgery and everything was rerouted so that my food could pass through. The twist is still in my body, but my food does not pass through that area. My health question...I have continous bouts of constipation and diarrhea. There will be days that I will not eat at all. I have heard of a vitamin mix that can be added to water called Zoe Life and wondered if that would help me get the vitamins that I am missing from the constipation and diarrhea. I learned quickly that I could not eat steak, salad, most green vegetables, spaghetti sauce, etc. But I do want to make sure I get my vitamins to stay healthy. Any suggestions about this Zoe Life?

Hello, this is Dr. Gidoiu,

To be honest i am not familiar with this Zoe Life. I dont know the active ingredients in it. Diarrhea is when you are losing vitamins, so try to prevent the diarrhea, abstain from the foods you know trigger it. If you are concerned about vitamin supplementation, you should take multivitamin tablets, make sure to take your vitamin C, D, and B12. If Zoe Life is a vitamin mixture, then it should be fine, and you can try it.

You mentioned there are days when you dont eat at all. That doesnt sound healthy. I would advise you to eat 3 times each day. The foods you can tolerate, and take your vitamins.
