Can A 2 Month Menstruation Delay Mean A Pregnancy?
Hi! I have a question. Im really confused right now because i am 2 months delayed in my period and i am married. My last period was april 20 and i toke 4 pregnancy test and it negative and a blood test came negative too. I am 25 years old by the way and i only delayed for 3 days every month but now its like no sign of coming mentruation and i had lot of symptoms which made me think i am pregnant. What you can say about this?
Both, urine and blood pregnancy tests negative after 2 months of missed period means you are not pregnant. Just having a feeling of pregnancy means nothing.
You will have to undergo investigations to find out the reason for such irregularity if it persists. At this stage, you may initiate your menses by hormonal withdrawal therapy. Take Tab. Deviry for 5 days. After discontinuing the tablets, you should get withdrawal bleeding within 4-7 days. Then you may expect your menses to appear at its expected time for the next cycle. If it does not appear, please get ultrasonography done to find out whether you have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome or any other pathology. If no detectable pathology, you may take birth control pills cyclically for 3 months to regularize the periods.
Please report to your Gynaecologist for thorough work up.
