Can A 22-month-old Baby Undergo A Surgery For Appendicitis?
my granddaughter had appendicitis and it burst she is 22 months when should they do surgery, they said in 5 wks is that too long. she had swelling. it burst on 9/17/18 shes on oral antibiotics now. they didn t know it was appendicitis and it was too late and it burst.

Yes, any age child can have appendicitis. If diagnosed soon, it's operated immediately. If there is a delay, and a lump forms, surgery is delayed till the lump or the inflammation subsides.
