Can A Cortisone Shot Cause Severe Headaches And Stomach Cramps?
I have chronic migraine headaches for 20 plus years but on 3 occasions I have had the most severe headache of my life. Today it happened again. Each time it is accompanied by having stomach cramps & diarrhea & the headache begins at the onset of that. It feels like my head is being bounced on cement, & is going to explode with pain. It slowly subsides after about 20 minutes & some Excedrin & Imitrex. Could it have anything to do with a cortisone injection ? I had one last week with pretty severe side effects- jittery, wired, difficult sleeping, tension headache. Thanks
