Can A UTI Cause Red Itchy Bumps Around The Vagina And Should I Take Treatment?
Can a UTI cause red itchy bumps around the vagina? I have had all the UTI symptoms such as the burn when I pee and constantly having to go pee. Lately I have been getting red itchy bumps and would like to know if its from the UTI? I have not been to see a doctor about it so I dont know how bad it can get before treated But I heard it can get pretty bad if left untreated. I m assuming the bumps are associated with it! So my question is can a really bad UTI left untreated cause red bumps? and also can a UTI heal on its own or is it important to go see a doctor?

Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely yeast infection.UTI can be ruled out by doing a routine urine analysis.Antibiotics will be needed if positive for that. For yeast infection i treat my patients with terbinafine or clotrimazole ointment for local application and fluconazole tablet weekly once for 1 month to stop recurrance.Hope this may help you. Let me know if you have any further query.
