Can A Bladder Tack Surgery Mesh Cause Recurrent Urinary Tract Infections?

I had bladder tack surgery in 2002. The hospital has purged it's records and the doctor left the area. I was contacted by one of the lawyers ,asking if I had mesh inserted during this surgery. How do I find out. I keep having severe UTIs and have one now . Having taken a round of Bactrim, am now on Cpro. If mesh is causing this ,then I want in on the settlement.

Urologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, i can understand your anxiety.
Mesh tack surgery can get infected and lead to UTI.
You'll need to get examined by an urologist, who maybe able to confirm it. Certain tests are also needed :
1. urine routine and culture.
2. ultrasound scan-KUB,with residual urine and a TVS(trans vaginal scan).
3. cystoscopy may be needed.
