Can A Brain Stroke Cause Elevated Creatinine Levels And Sharp Abdominal Pain?

I ve had a stroke (brain bleed) and yesterday, before I could get a CT Scan of my carotid arteries, they tested my kidneys and found I had an elevated creatinine level (1.7). This, and I ve had moderate sharp pain on my lower left side (back and side). The pain is 5-6. looking for ideas.

Stroke is not known to cause elevated creatinine levels in the acute or even recovery phase. The same is true of sharp abdominal pain and we do not expect to see that symptom as a result of having had an acute stroke. The elevated. You should see a nephrologist for the elevated creatinine as there may be kidney insufficiency unrelated to stroke caused by some other problem. Please rate this as a 5 star encounter and write me at: www.bit.ly/drdariushsaghafi for more detailed information.
