My nephew is 7 yr old wight 20kg. he is suffering from cough and our doctor priscribed medicin montel LC kid and ABphylline and omnacortil 10mg. and also a syrup asthelin.. is it correct to give him these medicin.. doctor did not advice for Xray and he is telling that my nephew is having asthema but he is not having any trouble in breathing. should we continue these medicine??? plz suggest me....

Side effects are more when it is given to children. So better not to give oral steroids in children. Inhaled steroids are safe and can be given to children without any side effects.
