Hi,

A vocal cyst is common among people who use lot of their voice (Lawyers, singers, teachers etc.). This cyst not only cause hoarseness of voice but they can in-fact block the airway if they grow big enough. The ideal treatment is Surgical excision. Any ENT Surgeon who is expert in laryngeal surgeries should be able to do this and preferred method is LASER surgical excision.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
